In this Web Academy, we will touch upon the basics of Göttingen Minipigs' biology and behaviour. We will look into general animal welfare aspects tailored to Göttingen Minipigs, incl. acclimatisation, socialisation, and behavioral management. Last but not least we will cover the most basic clinical issues and treatments in Göttingen Minipigs.
Lecturer: Maja Ramløse, DVM | Ellegaard Göttingen Minipigs.
About the lecturer: Maja Ramløse is specialised in biomedicine and is an experienced veterinarian, incl. more than 6 years of working with pigs for biomedical purposes. She is the main responsible for the health and welfare of all animals at Ellegaard Göttingen Minipigs, incl. the Culture of Care program.
